There is a joy in giving. It feels good to have something to offer, however large or small it may be. The act of giving is satisfying in itself, and when it contributes to something that we value, such as building enlightened society, it is wonderful to know that we have been able to make a difference.
The global Shambhala community accomplishes a remarkable amount with very limited material and human resources, and the Shambhala Trust is dedicated to supporting that effort. The Trust is an independent group of individuals from throughout the community who, inspired by the power of generosity, give of our own resources to support worthwhile projects embodying the Shambhala vision.
We pool our resources, experience, and inspiration to provide financial and/or consultative support to projects worldwide that contribute to the creation of enlightened society. We screen projects thoroughly for viability and strategic value to the Shambhala mandala, then provide managers of projects that we support with mentoring and assistance (as needed) in formulating and implementing their plans, as well as appropriate follow-up. We also encourage others in the community to give of their resources to support these worthy projects.
The Trust is recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization in the United States and Canada and provides donation acknowledgements for tax purposes in both countries. No more than 10% of donations made through the Trust will be used to cover administrative costs.

We warmly invite you to make an unrestricted
donation to the Trust.
Your donation will be applied to one or
more of the Current Projects that the
Trust has chosen to fund, based on various
criteria such as the strategic value
of the project to the Shambhala mandala and the level of available
Trust resources. As more funds become available from Contributing
Members and visitors to our site, we hope to expand the number and
scope of projects that receive allocations.
